suggested name: "Team Blue"
[000099] |
I remember as a child I tried many sports (figure skating, ballet, diving, competition swimming) and even though they were very different, all except one (ballet) shared a common feature: the team jacket. And all those jackets were the same color, royal blue. Even today I would never buy a piece of clothing this color (not even for my kids when they were young and I have two boys...) Maybe I should talk to somebody... lol

This reminds me that when the day has sucked all I have to do in order to get away is to look up at the night sky.

an hour after sunset on a clear summer evening. stars just beginning to faintly sprinkle the sky over the field where fireflies flash in the June heat. pale moon rising, shining white over the trees. almost time to look out through the sky as it turns invisible, clear as a window, into the midnight blackness of the universe.

(when men aren't in the pic). i just had 2 get some brightness in here, so shoot me if the colour of the text doesn't go with the blue. not literally of course. i know what u're capable of.

Sadness is hearing a TV droning in the background; seeing my bloodshot eyes in the mirror; smelling my musty Kleenex; tasting my salty tears intruding; and touching the telephone hesitantly.

My dining room in my dream house is painted this color and I like to imagine myself sitting at the table, with my family and friends eating, laughing, talking about anything, or even alone, looking out over the harbor to Deer Island. This is the perfect blue: Rich, Serene, Unpretentious, from blue jeans to blue velvet. It is the blue that colors my dreams...
